By creating an account or using OpenTabs.ai ("Service," "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
OpenTabs.ai is an AI-powered productivity platform designed to help users organize their thoughts, identify mental "open tabs," and generate prioritized action plans. The Service uses large language models to process your inputs and produce personalized responses.
You must be at least 16 years old to use OpenTabs.ai. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to maintain security.
OpenTabs.ai offers a free tier (limited sessions) and a paid Pro subscription. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. All payments are processed through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes; attempt to reverse engineer or copy the platform; input harmful, abusive, or illegal content; use automated tools to scrape or overload the platform; or resell or redistribute access to the Service.
You retain ownership of the content you input into OpenTabs.ai. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your inputs for the purpose of providing the Service. We retain all rights to the OpenTabs.ai platform, brand, and underlying AI systems. The action plans generated by the Service are provided for your personal use; they may not be resold or sublicensed without our written consent.
OpenTabs.ai is a productivity tool, not a diagnostic or therapeutic service. The AI-generated action plans are not a substitute for professional advice — whether mental health, medical, financial, legal, or otherwise. The Service is designed to help you clarify priorities and take action; it is not equipped to diagnose conditions, assess crises, or replace qualified professionals. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact a qualified professional or crisis line immediately.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce specific outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenTabs.ai's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OpenTabs.ai, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time through account settings. Sections 7, 9, 10, and 13 survive termination.
We may modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes that affect paid features.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules, conducted in Texas. You waive any right to participate in class action litigation. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and OpenTabs.ai regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
